Why Use E-Recording Services?


There are many reasons why you may want to E-Record your quitclaim deed or other recordable instrument. Here are a few common reasons:


  • You're closing is in the next 24 hours and a recordable instrument needs to be recorded before closing

  • You want your quitclaim deed to be recorded immediately

  • A widow or widower needs to record an Affidavit of Continuous Marriage and a death certificate prior to sale

  • You don't want to wait the 10-14 days it takes to record if done through mail


How Is E-RECORDING Pricing Determined?


As a Florida Notary Public and Legal Document Preparer, I am allowed to use real estate forms for document preparation such as Quitclaim Deeds. It is not uncommon that a Quitclaim Deed is utilized during a divorce settlement. Therefore, I feel offering the added bonus of E-Recording provides clients with a more efficient and value-added service.


As a non-lawyer, I may use an E-Recording service to handle your E-Recording of the following:


  • Quitclaim Deed $135 

  • Death Certificate $20

  • Affidavit of Continuous Marriage $150

  • Warranty Deed $150

  • Power of Attorney $150

  • Other Recordable Instruments upon request

Pricing for Quitclaim Deed, Affidavit of Continuous Marriage, Warranty Deed or Power of Attorney includes preparation of the Quitclaim Deed, Affidavit of Continuous Marriage, Warranty Deed or Power of Attorney form, notarization, and E-Recording fees.

In paying for our legal document preparer services, Bankruptcy Petition Preparer services, virtual paralegal services, in-house paralegal services or notary public services, you are acknowledging that you have read and agree to the Disclaimer and Disclosure on our site. Legal document preparation time may vary depending on the package chosen. In general, a legal document preparer or virtual paralegal will have your documents ready within 1-3 business days from the day you provide us with your information. A Bankruptcy Petition Preparer will usually have your Petition and Schedules within 24 hours contingent upon the complexity of your Bankruptcy case. If Notary Public services are required, the notary public fees are included in the document preparation charge. Traditionally, you will receive your typed package by email. Notary Public services are provided for clients who come to our office. Upon request, we will make other arrangements for delivery of your documents prepared by a legal document preparer, virtual paralegal, in-house paralegal or Bankruptcy Petition Preparer, whichever is applicable. The fee for a notary public wedding officiant, who only officiates the wedding, is limited by statute and the wedding officiant is to charge no more than $30. Costs incurred by a wedding officiant or services provided by a wedding officiant are separate from the statutory rate.
